Double Hung

Double-hung – As the name implies, both upper and lower sash units slide up and down.  The newest designs make this window easy to clean and operate.  With quite a bit more hardware, this style of window is a little pricier than the single-hung window of the same size.  But many feel the advantages outweigh the cost differential.
